68-year-old Adelaido Bernabe Urias was robbed and shot by three men on June 23, 2020 – passing from his injuries on July 2, 2020. At the time of the murder, he was working as a paletero (ice cream vendor) in North Austin. It's been over a month since Adelaido was attacked, and we are STILL searching for justice.
Thanks to six community groups (Crime Stoppers ATX, The Austin Police Association, Amigos En Azul, Austin Cops for Charities, League of Latin American Citizens, and the Greater Austin Crime Commission), a total reward of $24,000 has been raised for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for Urias’ death.
